JAHARA INTRODUCTION DAY

Jahara® is an exceptional aquatic therapy grounded in healthy body mechanics and awareness

• Jahara® is rooted on the understanding of two fundamental elements: the body structure and the unique physical properties of water.

This understanding is basic to healthier body mechanics. It means sound, safe treatments for clients, and is the key that enables the aquatic specialist to work regularly for many years feeling better and better in their own body. The introduction day will give you an insight into the Jahara® world. You will see how Jahara can help to redress the imbalances in your body’s structure; we will focus on the significance of developing the kinesthetic sense and learn to work in the water without effort. Through this you will take the first steps in understanding the enormous potential for this gentle aquatic therapy, not only while working in the water but also in your daily life

• The introduction day will be given by Osnat Fliess-Douer, Jahara® teacher from Israel. She is appointed lecturer and director of the Hydrotherapy courses at Wingate College, Israel. She owns a hydrotherapy center called MultiPool, Osnat currently does a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences

• It consists of ActivExercises™, Passive Aligned Floating ™, and continuous circular movements
• The Jahara® technique applies gentle, continuous traction to the spine, resulting in decompression of the neuro-musculoskeletal systems, elongation of the joints and muscles, pain reduction, and overall structural

For Physical therapists, swimming instructors, Adaptive physical activity specialists, PE teachers, hydrotherapists, massage therapists, movement teachers, caregivers

• Payment: The day fee is 90€ and it includes light meal at noontime
